You’ll never be up a creek without a paddle on this action day but try not to lose it, as your kayaking
partner might not be too pleased!
Your day starts on the beach around 9 a.m. when the water in the bay is usually millpond calm. The single and double sea kayaks we use are comfortable and stable and ideal for exploring the coastal waters of Vassiliki bay and beyond, including secluded beaches really only accessible from the sea.
Heading out to the east of the bay you follow the contours of this dramatic coastline. First port of call is beautiful Agiofili beach with its crystal clear waters and sandy beach; an ideal stop to catch your breath and maybe a swim or snorkel.
Your kayak adventure takes you around the headland to explore
the beaches and caves of Amousa bay, taking in a variety of other beaches along the way.
Throughout, your guide will be on hand to point out places of interest, provide some light snacks and refreshments and to ensure everyone is paddling at a nice comfortable pace and no one gets left behind!
The round trip takes around 5 hours, including plenty of rest stops, so you arrive back at base for a late lunch and a well-deserved rest, maybe soaking up the afternoon sun!
