A personal experience
Kayak around unspoiled islands with pine covered slopes and soaring coastal cliffs. Explore hidden sea-caves, turquoise bays, fishing villages, ancient windmills and Venetian ruins. Blue sky above, warm air, mirror calm sea.
Silence is broken by the soothing sound of your paddle stroking the water, and occasional tingling goatbells from high above the sea cliffs. The ringing of churchbells on Sunday is your only reminder of time.
The perfume of Rosemery, Thyme and Oregano growing wild on hillsides, blows across the water into your nostrils. Around dinner-time, the mouth watering aroma of grilled fish and kalamari guides our kayaks to a seaside 'taverna' restaurant at a nearby fishing village.
After our day's paddling we relax over dinner and indulge in fresh seafood, grilled meats, Greek salad and herbacious regional dishes.
Tavernas in small villages have a much more personal atmosphere, so there's plenty of opportunity to mix and argue politics with locals. It can be hard to get away.

* Itinerary is subject to change due to adverse weather.
* We always put safety first.
Having said that, on most tours to date we have kept to the agenda. For all our routes we follow the coastline, staying within a couple of hundred meters from land- and there are beaches almost every km along the way for portage. Distances between smaller islands are generally only a couple of km apart- excepting the Meganisi- Kalamos route involving 12-15km open sea crossing *(only for 6 day 'Ionian Beauties' tour).
We kayak as a group but there’s free time off the water to do your own thing- it’s not like a coach tour.
